The answer is given below :

The area of the rectangular floor

= 110 × 130 cm²

= 14300 cm²

and

the area of each rectangular tile

= 70 × 30 cm²

= 2100 cm²

Thus number of tiles needed

= area of the floor ÷ area of each tile

= 14300 ÷ 2100

= 6.8

So, maximum number of tiles needed = 7
