as the number to be dropped is 5 and the number just before is odd ..hence, 3 will be increased by 1
if instead of 3 it would have been any even number there would have been no change in it

already it has 3 significant numbers

(d)6.72
here as the number to be dropped is 5 and the number just before it is even so no change in it's preceeding number i.e 2 will remain same..
