Reduction of 20%

5 Orange more for Rs 10

Let cost  price per orange = Rs.x

Number of oranges he can purchase for Rs.10 with the actual price of oranges =10/x

Number of oranges he can purchase for Rs.10 with the reduced price of oranges [Reduction of 20%]

=10/[80x/100]=10/[4x/5]=25/2x

25/2x -10/x =5

5/2x=5

x=1/2

Ans: 50 paise
