To deduct the answer one can just find the factors of 246.

Which is 2, 3 and 41.

246 = 2 x 3 x 41

Thus, there can be 6 possible ways to plant all the plants.

i) 2 rows with (3 x 41) = 123 plants in each.

ii) 123 rows with 2 plants in each.

iii) 3 rows in (2 x 41 ) = 82 plants in each.

iv) 82 rows with 3 plants in each.

v) (2 x 3) = 6 rows with 41 plants in each.

vi) 41 rows with 6 plants in each.
