Solution:

The total marks = 40 marks

Reena's maths score of July exam = 28 marks

Reena's maths score of September exam = 32 marks

∴ Increase in the marks of maths = 32 - 28 = 4 marks

Now,

The percentage increase in marks is,

= $\frac{Increase\:in\:marks}{Previous\:marks\:of\:July} \times 100$

= $\frac{4}{40} \times 100$

= $\frac{1}{10} \times 100$

= $\bold{10\%}$

Thus, the percentage increase in the marks scored by Reena is → 10%.
