Part of the apple got by Reenu = 2/7

Part of the apple got by Sonal = 4/5

By cross multiplication

2/7 and 4/5

2 × 5 = 10

4 × 7 = 28

Therefore , 4/5 > 2/7

Difference = 4/5 - 2/7

= 28 - 10/35

= 18/35

Hence , Sonal got the larger part than Reenu by 18/35.

Comparison:

Multiplying eqn (1) with 1/5
