Refer to figure 2.9 (b) . An insect flying at a constant speed of 50 cm/s flies from A to B,B to C and C to A.
How much time does it take to return to A??

Answer:

First convert metres into centimeters

A to B= 400 cm

B to C= 300 cm

C to A= 500 cm

Now total distance = 400+300+500= 1200 cm

Now Time = Distance÷Speed

So,

Time = 1200÷50

= 24 seconds
