Answer:

Total resistance = 6ohm

Current = V/ R

I = 3/ 6 = 0•5 ohm

Potential Difference Across AB

current in series is same

V¡ = 0.5×1 =0.5V

Potential Difference Across BC

V¡¡ = 0.5 × 3 =1•5V

So there will be difference /increase of 1V of potential difference when it is connected between B and C
