During the 17th century, the thoughts were much more conservative than today. People believed strongly in the appropriateness of women inside the household. Looking at it from a human rights perspective, this is a violation of a basic right of a female to study. This violation happens even today in many societies throughout the world, in spite of the fact that 4 centuries have passed on. There is still a need to answer the question of 'Why women need to be educated' while the same for men is an unquestioned necessity.

Aristotle excluded women from Higher Education:

Over the years, centuries for the fact of matter education has changed its meaning and the way it has been perceived.

In this day and age in the 21st century education is very inclusive and it has a place for everyone people from all religions, gender, caste and creed but centuries before it wasn’t the cas.

Education was only for the privileged classes and men, visionary such as Aristotle didn’t even want the women to be educated, we definitely have come a long way since then and this is the one change that has been good.
