During Aristotle's times, the place of a woman was considered to be indoors. Aristotle, himself, calls females as 'mutilated males'. They were always considered as inferiors. In the 21st century, more and more activists are taking to the field to disprove this. Most of today's world believes in equal education for both men and women and in most schools today one can observe this. However, even today many communities believe in the above notion of women's lack of need to study. According to them, her major responsibilities are to look after her husband and his household, with a career or higher education not even in question.
