Explanation:

ist law of refraction states that incident ray, reflected ray,and the normal all lie in the same place

second law of refraction states that ratio of sin of angle of incidence to the angle of refraction is always constant..

Answer:

Refraction of light is the phenomena of the wave particle and ray particle in nature. Light travels in straight line as a ray and is composed of photon particles as a wave. Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one substance to another. Here, the light ray passes from air to glass and back to air. The bending is caused by the differences in density between the two substances.

• Laws of Refraction are :-

=> The incident ray, normal and the refracted ray lie on the same plane at the point of interface.

=> The ratio of sin of angle of incidence and sin of angle of refraction is equal to constant. This is called as Shell's Law.

sin<i / sin<r = constant
