R + M = 12 days

In 1 day, they can weave 1/12 of a sweater

M + P = 15 days

In 1 day, they can weave 1/15 of a sweater

P + R = 20 days

In 1 day, they can weave 1/20 of a sweater

Together:

2R + 2M + 2P  = 1/12 + 1/15 + 1/20

2R + 2M + 2P  = 1/5 of a sweater

R + M + P = 1/5 ÷ 2

R + M + P = 1/10 of a sweater

Find the number of days needed if 3 of them weave together:

1/10 of a sweater = 1 day

10/10 of a sweater = 1 x 10

1 sweater = 10 days

Answer: They can weave a sweater in 10 days.

R + M + P = 1/10 of a sweater

R + M = 1/12

P = 1/10 - 12

P = 1/60 of a sweater

Answer:  Number of days Payal needed = 60 days

R + M + P = 1/10 of a sweater

M + P = 1/15

R = 1/10 - 1/15

R = 1/30

Answer:  Number of days Rekha needed = 30 days

R + M + P = 1/10 of a sweater

P + R = 1/20

M = 1/10 - 1/20

M = 1/20

Answer:  Number of days Meetha needed = 20 days
