Answer:

Given:-

Rekha inveseted Rs 60,000

with an interest of

10% per annum

Question:-

What will she get after half an year, that is 6 months

Solution:-

we know equation for finding the amount she will get after an year:-

 (\frac{10}{100} \times 60000)+ 60000

But half an year means, half of the interest that is

 (\frac{10}{100} \times 60000) \div 2+ 60000

therefore we've got the equation

( \frac{10}{100} \times 60000) \div 2 + 60000 \\ (10 \times 600) \div 2 + 60000 \\ 6000 \div 2 + 60000 \\ 3000 + 60000 \\ = 63000

therefore the amount she will get after half an year with an interest of 10% is Rs 63000

that is an increase of Rs 3000

hope it helps
