Let ishitas age be x and rekhas age be x+24 After 8 yrs, Rekha=x+24+8 Ishita=x+8 Equation formed Sorry I forgot what we do after this am so sorry

according to her explanation present age of Rekha= (x+32) , however present age of Ishita= (x+8)
In agreement of ur question, 2nd case equation will be [(x+32) = (x+8)2]
then, 32+x=2x+16
thus, x=16
afterall, present age of Ishita=16 and Present age of Rekha=40
