force=G x M x m/r²
force= mass x acceleration
Here, in fee fall acceleration is equl to gravity
m x g=G x M x m/r²
by cutting m on both the sides we get
g=G.M/r²
g is the acceleration due to gravity, G is the universal gravitational constant, r is the radius, m is the mass of the body & M is the mass of the planet.
