Average Molar kinetic energy of N₂ and O₂ will be equal at same temperature because average molar kinetic energy of gas is directly proportional to temperature. It doesn't depend on nature of gas or mass.

Let , K.E₁ = Average Molar kinetic energy of N₂

K.E₂ = Average Molar kinetic energy of O₂

Therefore , relation between K.E₁ and K.E₂ :-

=> K.E₁ = K.E₂

How K.E. is directly proportional to Temperature :-

 \tt K.E =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times m \times   {v}^{2} _{rms}

 \tt also \: ,{v}^{2}_{rms}  = \dfrac{3RT}{m}

 \tt  \implies K.E =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times m \times   (\dfrac{3RT}{m} )

 \tt  \implies K.E =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 1 \times   (\dfrac{3RT}{1} )

\tt  \implies K.E =   \dfrac{3RT}{2}

\tt  \implies K.E \propto \dfrac{3RT}{2}

Where :-

K.E = average kinetic energy

T = temperature
