Answer: the distance between pole and center of curvature is called the radius of curvature while the center of the reflecting surface is the center of curvature. In terms of problems radius of curvature and center of curvature are same because in problems c represents radius of curvature .
NOTE: center of curvature is only considered as radius of curvature in problem .
eg: if f=30 cm then c =??
in a concave mirror f= 15 then the object is placed 30 cm away from the pole what is v( image distances)
ANS: -30( at c at c same size)
note:
here c refers to radius of curvature that is why we got the image distance as 30 and the point where the image is obtained is c.
