In science education reform, there is growing emphasis on the cultivation of students’ scientific literacy. Combining the history of physics and physics teaching and enhancing each student’s literacy through physics education become the center of one of the topics of current reform of physics teaching. The deep study of this issue of the building our physical education system facing the world and the future, which promotes the teaching contents and curriculum reformation, has important practical significance. This paper analyzes the history of physics and physics teaching at home and abroad with the research status and the weakness of the traditional teaching of physics and proposes the study subject that is theory and practice of research combining history of physics and physics teaching and design of the research ideas and methods.
