Religious practices have a purpose to one’s life peaceful and bring harmony in the society where people live with different beliefs. But, the religious practices have made people superstitious, unscientific and illogical. People have become so narrow minded doing the practices that there is no place for others who have different belief. As a result they have no respect for other religions. The purpose behind a religion is humanity, kindness, love and brotherhood. But the purpose has left miles behind. A religion is itself n act of discrimination. So, we can say that religious practices have no useful purpose. Nothing is achieved from them.
