Hey mate!

The Remainder Theorem states that if a polynomial, f(x), is divided by x - k, the remainder is equal to f(k). The Factor Theorem states that the polynomial x - k is a factor of the polynomial f(x) if and only if f(k) = 0..

Hope it helps you.

Answer:

Remainder theoram state that if p(x) is any polynomial of degree greater than or equal to one and a is any real number, the remainder obtained when p(x) is divided by the linear polynomial

(x-a) is p(a).

simply but when a polynomial p(x) is divided by (x-a),the remainder is p(a).
