Hope this letter finds you in radiant health and in best of spirits. I cannot express the delight in words upon receiving your letter yesterday on reading which I found that you have finally made up your mind to visit India.
I would suggest you come in the second week of November as the weather gets pleasant by then. Moreover, you will be able to become a part of Diwali celebrations which is the most significant Indian festival celebrated with great pomp and show.
I think you should definitely visit the most beautiful places of India which includes Kashmir, Leh Ladhak for its scenic beauty , Delhi and Rajasthan for its rich history , Taj Mahal in Agra, Rann of Kutch in Gujarat , Ajanta and Ellora Caves , Sunderbans forests for witnessing India flora and fauna at its best, Mysore for its rich culture , Assam for its tea plantations and the elegant temples in South India like the Sun Temple. However, the list is endless and you can spend an eternity visiting the breathtaking sites in my country. You get the best food in Gujarat , Punjab , Rajasthan, Karnataka everywhere but the best part of Gujarat is khaman dhokla and jalebi, and Rajasthan is dal dhokli, and in Punjab is parota, Karnataka is idli, dosa.
After you and your friends will have visited all the hotspots, I would consider it an honour if you come to the beautiful city- Chandigarh and spend a couple of days with us. I have planned to organise a traditional Punjabi dinner for the three of you and will also take you to worth visiting places in my city.
