TALCHER,(09/04/2017):The annual festival of prime Goddess of Talcher MaaHingula and 15thLokaMahotsav started from 9th April and it will be continued till 17th April 2017 for 9 days.This festival is being celebrated at Gopal Prasad under Talcher block. This year MaaHingula appeared in the form of fire at the back side of Gopalprasad High School near Gajaraj Stadium which is at a distance of 200 meters from Hingula Temple towards west. To witness this festive occasion and to get the blessings of Goddess MaaHingula thousands of devotees from Talcher localities and outside are coming voluntarily with their families. Thousands of Shopkeepers from various places with varieties of items have placed in their temporary tents for business. Like previous years many voluntary organizations are distributing cold water, sarbat, watermelon, ice creams, tea, lunch packets etc. for the devotees.
