Chandigarh: St. Soldier’s Divine Public School, Sector 16, Panchkula was swept by the Yuletide spirit with Christmas fervor, being witnessed all across the school’s campus. Jingle Bells 2015 -- A Christmas Carnival was held for students of the school as well as for those from other schools. Parents too were invited.

It was day full of fun activities at the school. Kids Colouring competition in which children took part,

Dance Competition was for children in the age bracket of 7-10 and 10-13 years and Healthy Baby Competition saw enthusiastic participation from babies in the following age groups 8-14 months, 25-30 months and 31-36 months. Mothers showed their glamourous side by walking the ramp with babies in toe in the Mom and Baby Ramp Walk. The kids who were allowed to walk the ramp with their mothers fell in the following age brackets 1.8-3 years, 3-5 years and 5-7 years.

An on the spot Photography Competition was also an attraction. Children in the age group of 14-16 years took part in this. Many prizes were given & there were loads of games for everyone. There were many stalls put up for those who wanted to satisfy their taste buds.

“The event was held to give kids and their parents an opportunity to have some great fun on Christmas. The School’s sprawling ground bore a very festive look with Christmas colours strewn all over it. Our school has received the International School Award for 2014-17, which is given by British Council. We have been quite proactive in organising not just academic oriented events but many very fruitful extra-curricular activities, like the one we put up on X’Mas.” Said Renu Diwan, Principal, St Soldier’s School, Panchkula
