August 11 was a special day at Shantiniketan Public School. Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny tots of the pre primary section. Dressed as Radha - Krishna they gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration. There was a handi hanging at the centre of the courtyard and the cute radha Krishna pairs danced around tehm to the beats of janmashtami songs filling the air with joy and festive spirit.
