We family members and neighbors have already got decided to save water and celebrates the festival in a eco-friendly way, hence on the auspicious day of Holi festival we have avoided the usage of water and harmful chemical based colours. We tried to prepare colours at home, hence used turmeric powder and gram flour for making yellow colour. I sprayed colours on family members even neighboring friends. Relatives too visited us and played Holi by spraying colours. All of us have enjoyed a lot even music also played music and we danced for various songs. I even followed the safety precautions by applying oil on face and hairs and even avoided the spray of colour in eyes and mouth. 

Even though I got double enjoyment on celebrating the Holi festival at school and home but has taken the pledge of saving water which is most precious resources for humans. I even decided to plant and maintain trees wishing the maximum rain-fall this year so that all of us can enjoy the next Holi festival in a more joyous way.
