19th November, 2018, Mumbai: The WHC Institute of Agriculture organized a one day trip to Saguna Baug, Raigarh on the 10th of Nevember, 2018 as a 'Go and Learn Programme' which is an annual programme initiated by the institute every year. This year the field trip had 40 students and 5 faculties. The institute took the trip to Saguna Baug, an agritourism centre, located in Raigarh, Maharashtra.
The purpose of the trip was to let the students get first hand information and experience about agricultural aspects such as farm life, farming methods, and to acquire other information such as opportunities and prospects of agriculture and farming. The students learnt a lot from the field trip and aspires more to contribute towards future agriculture. It is a great initiative that WHC Institute of Agriculture focuses not only on theoretical studies but also avails such programmes that helps students learn practically.
