INDEPENDENT DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ABC HIGH SCHOOL.
Purulia,August- 16,2020: Independence day was observed with dignity and reverence yesterday in the yard of ABC high school. On this suspicious day the school buildings and it's surrounding were given a festive look with flags,festoons,flowers, ribbons etc. The head master of the institution presided over the programme. the honourable B.D.O of ABC block was chief guest of this programme . He hoisted the national flag at 10AM. All the students and the teachers saluted the flag and then sung the national anthem . Then the head master gave us a long speech about the supreme sacrifice of the great mortyrs who gave there lives for the sake of freedom of our contry. The chief guest delivered a short speech on the life at Mahatma Gandhi . The teachers and the students performed colourful programmes on the stag. M.r Ajit Ghosh the bengali teacher sung a patriotic song to inspire the students. The whole programme was very nice. The programme ended up at about 3PM with the distribution of sweets.
