Maharashtra day and Labour day were celebrated on 1st may,2015. The assembly was conducted by the teachers incharge in marathi giving importance of Maharashtrian culture.

The School displayed a rich Maharashtrian culture through its display with Lezim, Powada based on Chatrapati Shivaji. All Maharashtrians irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or color are equally excited because it marks the day Maharashtra attained statehood.

The speaker teacher Nayana Salian welcomed the principal and the manager with a vibrant tune of the lezim. Powada and Speech were well delivered in marathi by the students, followed by a concluding speech by our Principal Sr. Philomena.

The presence of students and teachers dressed in orange colour made the celebration more eventful.

1st May 2021 was observed as Maharashtra Day. It is also known as Maharashtra din and is celebrated as a state-level holiday. This day is marked by a parade and an honorable speech is presented by the governor of Maharashtra. It is considered a dry day.

The day is celebrated annually and it cherishes the formation of Maharashtra.
