Lonavala, 28th Dec 2019:
A head to head collision took place on old national highway 27 that connects Mumbai and lonavala. Xyz travels Volvo MH47 432 departed from Mumbai and was headed towards lonavla. Akash and his four friends were travelling from tiger point in a SUV. Near the ghat section akash lost his control due to brake failure of his car and collided with the incoming xyz travels Volvo bus. Akash and his co passengers life was saved due to the inflation of airbags but his two friends were not lucky enough and died on the spot. The driver of the bus was thrown out of the window since he forgot to fasten his seat belt. The driver was injured and the localites called the ambulance and was rushed to the nearby hospital. Later it was found that the brake caliper of akash's car was jammed due to a mechanical failure and it was not his fault. Local police came immediately and took control over the situation.

On 20th January 2020 near the lake road, a break failure car had met with an accident. The car break was not working properly so it smashed in a tree with a heavy speed. Since the area was a remote area the accident was noticed after half an hour. Soon few people informed the police. There were 4 members in the car. out of the four of them were 2 men who were spot dead and the remaining 2 are admitted in the hospital with severe injuries.
