To represent a rational number on number line, first we have to draw a kine and then mark points of integer like 1, 2, 3 or 1, 0, -1, -2 ........
Then we look at the denominator, here it is 5. So, we divide each integer into five parts. e.g., between 0 and -1, we will give 5 different parts.
These parts will be as follows :-
<- (-1=-5/5) -4/5 -3/5 -2/5 -1/5 0->
Mark on -3/5 . Hence u have solved it.
