It will be BC.

Now AC together will be 9.5cm.

Draw the perpendicular bisector of AC by taking the compass and cutting an arc from point A and point C.

Name the point of intersection of the arcs as P and the point where the bisector meets AC as Q.

Keeping compass at Q and taking radius = PQ draw a semicircle from A to C.

Now at point B make an angle of 90 degree or in other words it is a perpendicular.

Name the point where the perpendicular meets the semicircle as R.

Length of RB is the answer.
