Represent one non terminating repeating decimal with any periodicity less than or equal to four on the number line using successive magnification

Successive magnification is done on a scale.

Procedure:

Take any two numbers say 1 and 2 on scale. Their sub-divisions are 1.0 to 1.9 to 2.0 .

Now take any of these sub-divisions say 1.0 and 1.1 now take their sub divisions which will be 1.00 to 1.09 to 1.10 .

Now take any of these say 1.09 and 1.10 and see their sub-divisions which will be 1.090 to 1.099 to 1.100.

Now take any of these say 1.099 and 1.100 and see their sub-divisions which are 1.0990 to 1.0999 to 1.1000. So one representation can be 1.0999.
