Steps of construction-

<>Make perfect squares-
Underoot (3^2)(1^2)

<>Draw a line AB.
<>Make 1,2,3,4,5 points on it.
<>Then keep compass on 3 and draw a right angle triangle.
<>Then keep ur compass on 3 and then measure 1 unit as per your scale.
<>Then draw an arc on that angle.
<>Then mark that arc as M.
<>Then match 1(point) and M.
<>Then keep ur compass on 1 and then measure till M and make an arc falling down.
<>And wherever it will fall that point will be your Underoot 10 on a number line.
<>And the joined line is your Underoot 10.

Sry I m not able to find my compass so not able to give the figure.
