Repressive policies of Lord Curzon were:
He passed the Act of 1898 which made it an offence to provoke people against the British.
He passes the Calcutta Corporation Act in 1899 which reduced the strength of elected members from India giving the British majority
He also passed the Indian Universities Act of 1904 which imposed strict official control over the Indian Universities as he considered them as the centres of Indian nationalism.
He also partitioned Bengal on communal lines into East and West Bengal. This fuelled national sentiments in the country.
