Heya user!
Reptiles are referred to as the
successful land animals due to the following reasons :
☆They have cledoic eggs.. i.e have a shell around their eggs..
☆Presence of amnion (embryonic membrane) which provides watery fluid to the embryo.
☆Cornified skin ( caratinised) : presence of carotene protein in skin make their skin as waterproof.
☆Uric acid as their excretory waste. Because uric acid needs very little amount of water.. And is least water soluble..
The above given factors were not present in the organisms of lower classes such as Pisces , amphibians ..therefore they can't be considered as land animals.. But the adaptation and acceptance of the features mentioned above enabled the members of class reptilia to live on land..
Hence, "Reptiles are considered as true terrestrial animals "
#Hope it helps!

Answer:
Reptiles are most successful land vertebrate
Explanation:
Reptiles:
Animals with cold blood include reptiles (ectothermic). Reptiles generate some heat from their cellular metabolism, but not enough to keep their body temperature constant
- Reptiles travel between sun and shade to control their internal temperature by absorbing and releasing heat from the environment. Additionally, they push chilled blood to the outside of their bodies while pushing warmed blood toward the centre.
- The majority of organisms are used to the process in their native environments and can keep their core body temperatures within a relatively small range.
- While this inadequate internal heating puts costs on the ability of reptiles to regulate their body temperatures through behaviour, it also offers a significant benefit by enabling them to subsist on a lot less food.
- For instance, a marine iguana, a lizard that lives in the ocean, finds it difficult to move when it's chilly, making it more susceptible to predators. Since they can't escape, marine iguanas are quite hostile before they've warmed up.
- Because reptiles use their noses to breathe and have relatively porous skin. Frogs can "breathe" mostly via their skin because to this special characteristic.
- Scale makes up the majority of a reptile's skin, which is impermeable. In contrast to reptiles, amphibians need a lot of moisture to survive because there isn't much of it on land. Unlike reptiles, amphibians mostly rely on the amount of accessible moisture.
