Republic day parade cancelled in which year

its In 1972 Army headquarters recommended to cancel the parade due to shortage of troops,but was straight way declined by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.The reason of declination was to celebrate victory in 1971 battle against Pakistan.

If it was not cancelled that time then I don't feel that bad weather can be a reason to cancel/postpone R-Day parade.
