Sub :- A request to Principal to arrange sports week in school

Respected Sir/Madam,

With due respect and humble submission, I beg to state that I'm a student of your school reading in Class •••. I would like to tell you about the importance of sports' activities in a students life. Different kinds of physical activities would make a student active both physically and mentally.

Students should be provided with Group activities like tug-of-war, different types of drills, etc. Also with several individual games such as Sprints (100-800 meters), high & long jump, discus throw, etc. With this activities the students should also provided with games like football, cricket, basket-ball, batminton, etc.

These activities would teach students some moral values like team-spirit, hard-work, self-discipline, fortitude, etc. Sports will give inspiration and motivation to the students.

With this, I request you to introduce a sports week in our school with several physical activities as mentioned above.

I hope that you will grant my request.
