The photosynthesis requires following things:

1)Chlorophyll. It is a pigment in plants is essential to the photosynthetic process. 2)Sunlight. It requires energy and that comes from the sun 3)Enzymes that catalyze the photosynthetic reactions or take part in the process of photosynthesis 4) Water.Water splits into oxygen, hydrogen ions, and electrons to replace the lost electrons of photosystem II in light-dependent reaction. Also, as hydrogen ions pass through ATP synthase, ATP is formed to use in the light-independent reaction. 4)Carbon dioxide.During photosynthesis, the plants take carbon dioxide(which is present throughout the air) and water (which is also in the air and dirt) and turn it into sugar, among other compounds. Plants also produce oxygen during photosynthesis.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS IS THE PROCESS OF MAKING FOOD BY GREEN PLANTS

DUE TO PRESENCE OF CHLOROPHYLL PHOTOSYNTHESIS TAKES PLACE

IT IS GREEN IN COLOR

SUNLIGHT,WATER,CARBON DIOXIDE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A PLANT TO PRODUCE GLUCOSE BY PHOTOSYNTHESIS

THERE ARE TWO PHASES IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS
1.DARK PHASE
2.LIGHT DEPENDENT PHASE

END PRODUCTS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS  ARE

GLUCOSE, OXYGEN, WATER(TRANSPIRES)

PHOTOSYNTHESIS GENERAL EQUATION CAN BE WRITTEN AS

6CO2+12H2O========>C6H12O6+12H2O+6O2

HOPE IT HELPS

vivekaanandh: During this process, the electrons in water are removed and passed to the reaction center chlorophyll. The associated hydrogen ions are released from the water molecule, and after two water molecules are thus split, the oxygen atoms join to form molecular oxygen (O 2 ), a waste product of photosynthesis.
vivekaanandh: it is called photolysis
vivekaanandh: photo=light
vivekaanandh: lysis=break
vivekaanandh: Chlorophyll is vital for photosynthesis, which allows plants to absorb energy from light. Chlorophyll molecules are arranged in and around photosystems that are embedded in the thylakoid membranes of chloroplasts. In these complexes, chlorophyll serves three functions.
