Ans. * “The policy of reservation of seats for admission, on the basis of caste or religion, leads to

unequal-division. This needs immediate suspension”.

*Good Morning dignitaries & my dear friends I karan is infront of you to share my views

against the motion.

* India is a diverse nation where the past reveals that there was division of society on the

basis of caste colour, race etc. Unfortunately it’s the same in many areas even today but

it doesn’t mean that we need to give reservation to anyone or everyone on the basis of the

lines been drawn in the past.

* Poona part 1932, gives reservation to (SC/ST)

* There are many who raised their voice to get reservation

* E.g. Issue to Jat-reservation was in limelight.

* I personally believe that reservation should be given to those who are economically

backward only.

* Even the Creamy-layer (sons whose fathers are I.A.S, CA etc being SC/ST or OBC) should

not be given reservation.

* Though reservation helps the section to get a seat bit easily but what about those who are

general candidates from humble background?

* I would like to ask you all that when govt gives R.T.E (Right to Education) to all; when it

gives mid-day meal to all the government schools, thinking that private schools already

have the facilities.

* Why reservation to deprived sections on the basis of caste, religion primarily.

* Rather than giving reservation, the steps should be taken to improve the situation of the

country.

* We need to develop, educational institutions where by facilities will be given to all.

* In schools as well equality for all; equal opportunity to all is to be maintained.

* Teachers should be trained to tackle the situations irrespective of the fact that casteism

and gender bias is still followed in many areas.

* Govt. should ensure better implementation of laws.

* Awareness should be spread not only about fundamental rights but also about fundamental

duties. Being active-citizens of the country we need to perform our duties as well.

* Once equality is ensured there will be no need of reservation for anybody.
