Answer:

(x + 1/x)^2 = x^2 + 1/x^2 +2

(x - 1/x)^2 = (x + 1/x) ^2 - 4

(x - 1/x) = sqrt (8 - 4) = sqrt4 = +2 and -2

Answer: 15

Step-by-step explanation:

on the fifteenth day after marriage started saving they will have saved equal amount.

Let d be the day when their savings are same after mary started savings

So, 5d = 3(d+10)

D = 15
