AnsWer :

23 ohm.

Concepts Required :

  • Series Combination - Series Connection define as When Resistors connected in only one path, it said to be Series Combination.
  • Req - R1 + R2 + R3 + Rn.

  • Parellel Combination - Parellel Connection define as When Resistors connected in two or more different direction / path, it said to be Parallel Combination.
  • 1/Req - 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/Rn.

Solution :

We have,

  • R1 = 8 ohm.
  • R2 = 10 ohm.
  • R3 = 5 ohm.

All Connected in Series.

We have formula.

 \tt \dagger \: \: \: \: \: R_{eq} = R_1 + R_2 + R_3 + R_n.

 \tt\longmapsto 5 + 10 + 8.

 \tt \longmapsto 13 \Omega.
