formula for finding resistivity of a metal wire is given as

R= r (l÷A)

where R is given resistance of the wire

r is resistivity

l is length of the wire

A is area of cross section(pie × (radius)^2)

as given in the question

R = 26 ohm

r=?

l= 17cm

A = pie×(0.15cm)^2

=0.314 × 0.225

=0.071cm^2

putting in the formula

(26 × 0.071)÷ 17 =r

r = 0.11 ohm cm
