we know v=ri

so v=12v

i=16A

12=(16)R

R=3/4ohm

pranav9280: will a current flow more through a thin wire or thick wire why?
sauravara101: the current will flow more through thick wire than thin wire of same material when they are connected to same source. Because the thick wire has greater diameter and hence less resistance to the flow of current through it. On the other hand, the thin wire has less diameter and hence greater resistance to the flow of current through it.
