Resistances of 4Ω and 12Ω are connected in parallel across a 9 V battery. Determine (a) the equivalent circuit resistance, (b) the supply current, and (c) the current in each resistor. I NEED THE ANSWER ASAP.

1/Req=1/4+1/12=1/3
Req = 3ohm
current=voltage /resistance
=9/3
=3Amperes
current through 4ohm resistor = v/r=9/4=2.25 amperes
current through 12 ohm resistor= v/r=9/12=0.75 amperes.

to check the current values of each resistor
i1 +i2 =I
2.25+0.75=3.00
hence the answer is correct
