Anything which useful to a human being which are technologically accessible economically feasible and culturally acceptable is termed as a resource.
India has many vital resources and they have been using it since independence.
Due to this the resources at some places were used very exorbitantly due to which the resources started to deplete.
To avoid this problem the government thin some measures in conserving resources. These steps taken are collectively known as resource planning.
Resource planning involves 3 main steps:
1. Identifying and locating the resources through surveying, mapping, etc.
2. To check whether we have the technology to extract the resources found.
3. To match the developmental plans with overall national plans.
These are called the resource planning measures taken by the government.
