Yes rest and motion are relative terms as they can be defined in a proper way only if they are related to some other stationary object.....
Eg.
1. In a train passengers are in motion if compared with the outside tree.
2.In a train passengers are in rest if compared with a fellow passenger.
3. While we are walking we are in motion if compared to a car.
You may give other examples

Example are as follows:
1 . passenger sitting in moving train here it passenger is at rest with respect to moving train.

2. Moving car is the motion with respect to road which is at rest.

3 . earth is in motion with respect to sun which is at rest.

4.child doing skating is at rest with respect to its skating which at motion

5. Birds at motion with respect to still sky.
