Resultant of two vectorsF1 and F2 is of magnitude P. If F2 is reversed, then resultant is of magnitude Q. What is the value of P ^2+Q^2?

Explanation: F1+F2=P AND F1-F2=Q (AS F2 IS REVERSED , So -F2)

Now, P^2+q^2=1/2[(P+Q)^2+(P-Q)^2]=1/2[ 4F1^2+4F2^2]= 1/2(F1^2+F2^2)
