Solution:

Larger number is 1.2 time smaller numer

Smaller number = A

Larger Number = 1.2A

= 6A/5

Hence Smaller number must be a multiple of  5

On Trial

45 x 1.2  = 54

Hence Smaller Number can be 45   and larger number 54

further

495 x 1.2  = 594  

4995 x 1.2  = 5994

49995 x 1.2 = 59994

and so on

Hence number of  Digits must be known to find larger number
