Given : Reversing the digits of the first number gives the second number.

The larger number is 1.2 times the smaller number.

To Find : larger number

Solution:

Larger number is 1.2 time smaller numer

Smaller number = A

Larger Number = 1.2A

= 6A/5

Hence Smaller number must be a multiple of  5

On Trial

45 x 1.2  = 54

Hence Smaller Number can be 45   and larger number 54

further

495 x 1.2  = 594

4995 x 1.2  = 5994

49995 x 1.2 = 59994

and so on

Hence number of  Digits must be known to find larger number

For 2 Digit  its 54

and for N Digits its

59...4

9 is (N - 2) times

Larger number can be 54 , 594 , 5994 and so on
