The revolution of bastar occurred in 1910.
Causes of revolution are:
1.the British had degraded the king of bastar who was regarded as an incarnation of god by the tribals.
2.the tribals were against the British interference in their administration and socio -economic order.
3.the British efforts to spread education in tribal areas also cause great unrest.
4.the policy of government to divide forest into: reserve, protected and village forest.
But British sent their troops and fired their houses.
